Planning and installation
TruLight is a premium permanent outdoor LED lighting system that mounts below your fascia and soffit and stays there year-round. Control colors, patterns, and schedules from the TruLight app.
TruLight uses 6 LEDs per light (3 RGB + 3 dedicated warm white) compared to the industry standard of 3. This means 2-3x the brightness, true warm white and pure white modes, a 48V system for better efficiency, integrated motion sensors, and the most patterns and music sync options available.
TruLight is professionally installed to ensure safety, proper wiring, and the cleanest possible look. Our team handles everything.
The control box mounts in your garage or a discrete exterior location. It's small, clean, and out of the way.
Most homes are completed in one day, typically 4-8 hours depending on the size and complexity of the project.
Nearly invisible. The low-profile aluminum track mounts below the fascia and soffit, color-matched to blend right in. Beautiful at night, discreet during the day.
Most do. Permanent lighting is generally more HOA-friendly than seasonal lights because it's clean, professional, and architectural. We can help you navigate your specific HOA requirements.
No. The track mounts below the fascia and soffit, so we never touch your gutters or roof.
Weather and your home
Heat can accelerate LED light-output loss. The published diode hour rating does not guarantee the life of a complete installation. Ask about sun exposure and controller placement at your home. TruLight does not publish an operating-temperature rating for the node or control box in our Texas-weather guide.
Read the Texas-weather guideNo. A rating for a light node does not describe the controller, connections, or the complete installation. Ask how those parts will be positioned and protected. Do not handle cut or damaged wiring, wet or dry; contact TruLight for help.
Understand rain and moistureMounting beneath the fascia or soffit gives the track some cover, but wind-driven hail and other impacts can still reach it. Placement is not an impact rating or a promise against damage. Weather events and impacts are excluded from the published warranty.
Read coverage and exclusionsIf you see ice, damage, or a change in operation, contact TruLight from a safe location. Do not handle damaged wiring or climb onto an icy roof. Describe the problem so the team can help determine the next step.
Contact supportThe published warranty excludes weather events, natural disasters, water, ice, and impacts from foreign objects. Lights and control panels have limited lifetime coverage for up to 100,000 hours from completed installation; parts and installation labor are covered for one year. Read the full terms and your signed agreement for the coverage that applies.

Yes! The TruLight app lets you create and save custom patterns, choose from thousands of pre-made options, and sync your lights to music.
Yes, and this is one of TruLight's biggest advantages. With 3 dedicated warm white LEDs plus 3 RGB LEDs per light, you get two white modes: a real warm white (perfect for stone and stucco) and a true pure white by running all 6 LEDs together. Standard RGB systems can only approximate white with a bluish tint.
Yes. TruLight supports zoning, so you can run different colors or patterns on different areas of your home independently.
Yes. TruLight landscape lights run on the same controller and the same app as the roofline. Each light is addressed on its own, so you can group them into zones and run one color scene across the roof and the yard at the same time.
