Service area

San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo, Bulverde, Spring Branch and other communities across Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall and Wilson counties, including neighborhoods such as Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, The Dominion and Fair Oaks Ranch.

The system

TruLight is a permanent roofline lighting system. The lights sit in a slim aluminum track under the fascia or soffit, stay up year round and are run from the TruLight app, which has thousands of preset patterns and 144 motion effects.

Hardware: a 48V system, 6 LEDs in every light (3 for RGB color and 3 dedicated to warm white), a 100,000-hour rating, and 16-gauge tinned copper 4-wire with a backup data line. Motion-activated security lighting is available with added sensor hardware, at extra cost.

Voltage varies across brands. The majority of permanent lighting systems use 12V, a few use 24V or 36V, and JellyFish Lighting is 48V, the same as TruLight.

What it costs

Installed prices in the San Antonio area:

  • Front roofline: $1,500 to $2,500
  • Front and sides, where most homes land: $3,000 to $5,000
  • Full perimeter: $6,000 to $8,000 or more

Financing is offered through Enhancify. Get a preliminary price at https://trulightsanantonio.com/pricing; Javier's team confirms measurements and scope before the install.

Warranty

Every install carries TruLight's lifetime warranty on the lighting modules and control box: 100,000 hours for the lights, which is 11.4 years from installation, and five years for the control box. Both are replaced in full for the first five years; after that the lights are prorated through year 11.4. TruLight San Antonio also covers parts and labor on its own work for the first year. Exclusions and transfer terms apply; read them at https://trulightsanantonio.com/warranty
